Now when a woman is going to have a baby, she needs vitamins to help her baby grow inside her. The man and wife could only afford to eat runny gruel, and they were often very hungry. But the garden that they kept for their boss was bursting with fruits and vegetables! The woman saw a delicious green herb called Rapunzel - which today we call corn salad or maché. The man knew stealing was wrong. But his wife was starving! He thought the boss would not miss a little Rapunzel if it was going to help his baby. He stole some Rapunzel and made a salad for his wife. She felt wonderful! Her cheeks glowed with health and her belly grew big.

The Grimm Brothers were named Jacob and Wilhelm. Jacob Ludwig Carl Grimm was born in January 4, 1785, in Hanau, Germany.
